I have been involved with Open Source and GNU/Linux systems via EGLUG, the Egyptian GNU/Linux user group since 2004 providing various kinds of volunteer support to the GNU/Linux and open source community in Egypt. A very strong believer in the power of open source and open knowledge sharing. Currently I hold the position of Senior cybersecurity office at the Irish centre for high-end computing and volunteering as a part of Rocky Linux release engineering team where I focus on secureboot, SIG/HPC and SIG/Altarch, Also I am a board member of the RESF , rocky Linux project and Peridot project.
